A while back I was recommend to play the game King’s Bounty: The Legend from Russian developers 1C company. It is a mix of Heroes of Might & Magic and a Roleplaying game. It has quests, no castle building and a gameplay foundation firmly rooted in the turn based fights of Heroes of Might and Magic and the stats, armor and talents brought over from Role Playing Games. In 2010 I decided to take part in the creation of a movie regarding the PirateBay torrent site in Sweden. They crowdsourced their project by using a website called Kickstarter, where projects can plead their case with the public and then hope people find it convincing enough to support it.
I have throughout the year spent many good hours in a custom Warcraft III map called Ranked Risk Nextgen. It is a real time recreation of the classic Risk game where you compete to take over the world in competition with up to 11 other players. What makes me come back to this game time and time again? I was listening to di.fm one day and I noticed the mix that I was listening to was actually really really good, so I went to the website and tried to find out what was playing and not more than 10 minutes later had I discovered Morten Beutelmanns website, from which I was able to download all his Epic Trance Sessions. Long story short, I’ve been listening to them ever since that discovery!

Quite the gamble from Relic, renowned shapers and creators of Real Time Strategy games since their humble beginnings. They have gone ahead and created a Third Person Shooter set within the Warhammer 40.000 universe.
